In one paragraph
What is Scovara?
Scovara is AI-assisted scope creep detection for client-service businesses. It compares each client request with your human-verified project scope and shows the contract language behind every result, so your team can decide whether new work is covered before saying yes.
Not sure what scope creep looks like in practice? Read seven scope creep examples from client projects.
- Who it's for
- Agencies, development and design studios, marketing teams, AI automation businesses, consultancies, fractional teams and freelancers: anyone delivering client work against an agreement, SOW or proposal.
- The problem it solves
- Extra work arrives as small requests in chat, email and calls. When nobody checks the agreement each time, teams say yes to work that was never priced.
- How the analysis works
- Upload the signed agreement (PDF or DOCX). AI drafts a structured scope: included work, exclusions, limits and rules. Each client request is classified as in scope, needs review or potential out of scope, with the supporting clause quoted.
- Why a person verifies
- AI can misread a contract. Scovara only analyzes requests against a scope someone on your team has reviewed and verified, and a person records every decision.
The pattern
It usually starts with “Can you also…”
Nobody decides to give away work. It happens one reasonable-sounding yes at a time — usually before anyone has reopened the agreement.
- Week 02New deliverable
- Week 03Extra revision
“Can we get three more revision rounds on the homepage?”
- Week 05New integration
“Can you quickly connect HubSpot to the contact forms?”
- Week 06Excluded service
“Could you also create two campaign videos for launch?”
- Week 08Unclear request
“Can we add this small API integration before go-live?”
None of these sound like much. Together, they're a different project.
Same request, two outcomes
The difference is one check before the yes.
Scope creep rarely comes from difficult clients. It comes from nobody opening the agreement at the moment it matters.
Without a scope check
- Small request
A client asks for “one quick thing”.
- No scope check
Someone assumes it’s probably covered.
- Team says yes
The work gets planned, built and delivered.
- Untracked extra work
The scope conversation happens too late.
With Scovara
- Small request
Same client, same “one quick thing”.
- Scovara check
Compared against the human-verified scope.
- Contract evidence
The relevant clause is quoted, with its page.
- Human decision
Your team decides what happens next.
How it works
From signed agreement to a clear answer.
Four steps. The AI does the reading; your team stays in charge of what counts as scope.

Evidence first
Don’t just flag the request.
Show why.
A classification on its own is an opinion. Scovara shows the scope entry and the exact contract language behind every result, so the conversation starts from the agreement — not from memory.

Quoted, not paraphrased
Evidence uses the agreement’s own wording, checked against the stored document text before it’s shown.

Each quote points to the human-verified scope entry it supports, limits or conflicts with.
Page and section, where available
Anyone on the team can find the clause without rereading the whole SOW.
Human in control
AI spots the boundary.
Your team makes the call.
Scovara never replies to a client or changes a project by itself. It gives you the analysis and the evidence; a person decides what happens.
AI drafts, people verify
An extracted scope is only used for analysis after someone on your team has reviewed and verified it.
Every decision is recorded
Who decided, when, and an optional note — saved against the request.
An aid, not legal advice
Scovara helps delivery teams read their agreements. It doesn’t give legal opinions or enforce anything on its own.

FAQ
Questions about Scovara
What is Scovara?
Scovara is AI-assisted scope creep detection for client-service businesses. You upload a signed agreement, SOW, proposal or contract, verify the scope Scovara extracts, then check client requests against it. Each result quotes the contract language behind it, and a person on your team makes the decision.
How does Scovara detect potential scope creep?
It compares each client request with your verified scope (what's included, excluded and limited, and any rules) and classifies the request as in scope, needs review or potential out of scope. The evidence is quoted from your agreement and checked against the stored document text, with the page or section where available.
Does Scovara work without Slack?
Yes. You can paste a request from any email, chat or call notes. Slack is optional: connect it to import new messages from the channels you map to a project. Microsoft Teams and email imports are not available yet.
Can Scovara reply to clients automatically?
No. Scovara never sends messages to clients, in Slack or anywhere else. It can draft a change request or a client reply for your team to edit and finalize, and a finalized change request can be exported as a PDF for you to send.
How is Scovara different from project management software?
Project management tools track tasks, timelines and time once work is planned. Scovara answers an earlier question: is this new request covered by what the client agreed to? It doesn't manage tasks or track time; it reads your agreement and gives your team the evidence for a scope decision.
Is Scovara legal advice?
No. Scovara is an AI-assisted aid for reading your own agreements. It doesn't give legal opinions; for a contract dispute, talk to a qualified lawyer.
